The St John Dome

The New York Times featured St. John in its 2009 Affordable Caribbean review. Travel writer David Allen writes in his article about Maho Bay, Woody’s Seafood Saloon and Trunk Bay. But he didn’t know about the St. John Dome, the best value on St. John. Read the article here. Most of what he says is true, but he obviously overlooked the fact that for less than the cost of a hotel room, you can stay in a geodesic dome-shaped house with a queen-sized bedroom and a twin bed sleeping loft. Complete with a full kitchen, the St. John Dome is clearly a great deal. But, it’s the location and the view that make this place special. Next time, Mr. Allen, let us show you the real meaning of “affordable”.
